Tech Wednesday

August 21 @ 4:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Tech Wednesday is our monthly Campus meet-up for Birmingham’s technological and entrepreneurial community. Each month we also have ‘Show ‘n Tells’, where a number of tech start-ups and individuals within the region present and demo innovative projects to the group for feedback and discussion. Please get in touch if you would like to present.

We meet at 5.30pm within Innovation Birmingham’s multi-million-pound iCentrum building. You can find us in the atrium; however, if you’re struggling to locate us our friendly reception staff will point you in the right direction. New faces are always welcome!

In a world of multi-million-pound marketing budgets, how can a start-up compete against big brands for the attention of their ideal customer? The answer – by out-thinking them. EnquiryLab will share 5 ways you can use neuroscience to make your marketing brain-friendly and supercharge your conversion rates in the process.

Speaker 2 – Simon Austen, Third Skin – @thirdskinhy
Simon is founder of Third Skin, serial inventor and project lead on Hy, the worlds first always-on consumer augmented reality device.

Speaker 3 – Victoria Masso, Behaviour Hackers – @behaviourhacker
Victoria Masso is the founder of Behaviour Hackers, an executive training company that uses behavioral science to give organizations the skills to survive in today’s digitalised world. Victoria will also give us an intro on their new ‘Fast-tracking women to leadership positions’ suite and little wins Friday.
